Refunds

Refund policy

Cyberact is sold as subscriptions, billed every month or every 12 months. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from the billing page, and your access continues to the end of the paid period. This page covers the free trial, cancelling, and when a payment is refunded.

Version 7 October 2026

1. 12-month subscription: 14-day free trial

As a new customer, you start a 12-month subscription with a 14-day free trial. A card is required, but nothing is charged until the trial ends: the first charge, the 12-month price, is made when the trial ends.

If you cancel during the trial on the billing page, nothing is charged and your access ends when the trial ends.

There is one trial per buyer: if you have had a Cyberact subscription or purchase before, there is no trial and you pay at once. The 1-month term has no trial.

2. Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription any time on the billing page. Your access continues to the end of the paid period, and nothing more is charged.

A started billing period is not refunded, except where the law requires it (see the consumer's right of withdrawal below). This applies to renewals and to the monthly term too.

3. Switching the billing period

Switching the billing period on the billing page is not a new purchase, so no trial comes with it. When you move from monthly to 12-month billing, the unused part of the current month is credited on the same invoice that charges the 12-month price.

4. Consumers: the right of withdrawal

If you subscribe to the Individual plan as a consumer living in the EU or EEA, you have the statutory right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of it starting, whichever billing period you chose. The service starts at once at your request, which you confirm at checkout, so if you withdraw, we refund the price less a share in proportion to the days you had access. If your 12-month subscription started with a trial, nothing is charged when you cancel during the trial.

The right of withdrawal belongs to consumers only. A business customer, such as a company, an association or another organisation, does not have it, and cancelling works as described above. You can give notice of withdrawal informally to support@cyberact.io.

Consumers outside the EU and EEA, such as in the United States, have a right of withdrawal or a refund only where the mandatory law of their home country or state gives one. Otherwise cancelling works as described above.

5. How to ask for a refund

Where the law requires a refund, write to support@cyberact.io from the email address you used at checkout, and tell us your order number if you have it. We refund the payment to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your request. Your subscription and access end when the refund is made.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer: most questions are settled faster that way. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, we may suspend access while the matter is resolved. A chargeback does not cancel the payment for a period you have already used, unless you were entitled to a refund.

6. When access ends

Once you have cancelled, your access continues to the end of the paid period. After that, a company's data is kept for 12 months: if you subscribe again in that time, you pick up where you left off. The main administrator gets a reminder email 30 days before the data is deleted. A personal account moves to the free plan and keeps its progress. The privacy notice sets out the retention periods in full.
